Over the past week there was a momma cat out there with 2 tiny kittens and with the cold temps coming around (5* this morning) I decided to catch them and save? them cause I thought it was just to cold for these tiny little things out there. I caught them on Tuesday night and caught Momma last night. I will have the kittens checked out and declawed and keep them inside but the plans for the momma was to bring her to Animals for Life and have her spayed and release her back in the back yard to catch mice. These kittens are growing fast!!!!! From Wednesday they seemed to have almost dbld in size. Heres a pic of them tonight but I swear they were the size of my fist.

Dan, its the only phone in the house that will work if the power goes out for awhile as we have the phone through the modem which only has a small battery backup although now that I think of it I have he generator built in so the time down is minutes. Just feeding them Purina kitten chow and a little Friskees canned food. They look much bigger in that pic then they are.

Yeah we still keep one phone like that also, just in case. A lot of people are eliminating home phones all together since everyone has cell phones now. I am not ready to do that yet, kind of like having a security blanket.

My cell phone or any other for that matter dont work in my house and some crap out just going up my road. Even though we have a cell tower in our town it doest do well. My area is like one of those dead zones. Its very spotty

I guess I'm too old but I sure wouldn't call that phone antique!! My idea of an antique phone is the one where you had to crank the crank to get the operator (or central as she was known back then!!) Am I dating myself?????? I could adopt one of those beautiful kittens. They will always be beautiful even when they are grown. I wouldn't say they are going to be spoiled but is that their bed or yours?????

Its pretty much theirs right now but they do let me reside at the very edge at night. We need to keep them separated right now from our other cats as its possible they have feline leukemia so we need to get them checked out so as not to spread it. They sure look healthy right now though. We have the momma cat in another room and we believe she is pregnant again!

Hey, Barney, we had a crank phone like that when I was a kid, on a party line with a dozen other families. Everyone knew everybody's ring, so it was easy to eavesdrop. Since my Dad was a pastor, that got awkward.
