So I'm trying different labels from simple to complex. I name my wines "Chateau Das Trois Chien" after the 3 dogs we're owned and will have them on every label I come up with. I'm still struggling with comming up with something that will look good on the Avery labels. Pictures come out rather flat but...

The first one is very striking. How do the labels work out when they are wider than their length? The 3x4 labels I buy are all 4" long, meaning running the length of the bottle. I haven't used Avery. Do you print them yourself?

Yeah, I print with an ink-jet printer. I like to 1st one too but it looses a tad when printed. I import to a word template, then I can do anything I want to with the label :) I use Adobe Photoshop to make the picture.
