Will it leave any future bad tastes if I use my wine pump to pump fermented mash from my fermenter into the the still?

what kind of wine pump are you referring to ?

I do believe any mention about stills is not appropriate for this site unless you mistyped

He may live in a country where personal distillation is legal? Or have a license for a small distillery?

But let us make it a more generic question since I had wondered the same thing. If I use a wine pump like the AllInOne to transfer liquid from my primary fermenter into a secondary, what all do I need to clean so that I do not transfer taste/smell to the next batch I transfer? Just the tubing?

that is correct Maurtis.

But the one thing that caught my eye was the word -
MASH -
so I am assuming that he is using some sort of trash pump.or a diagram pump.

No distillation discussion allowed so lets keep this generic in nature to pumps please.

hear, hear.

I am thinking if you pumped some star san through it, then several gallons of hot water, drain all hoses and pump housings, you should be fine.

From what I read, no, it isn't legal. But my local shop sells "equipment" and ingredients. Will also import some fancy copper "equipment" to handle larger volumes. ?? Odd ??
