hi, I have 6 gallons of blueberry in the primary. I want to use the slurry to make skeeter pee. could I rack the blueberry to secondary at 1.01, add sugar, water and nutrient to the slurry in the existing primary, wait for the fermentation to pick up again, then add the lemon over the next couple days?

thanks, Mike

You really need to finish your blueberry. Taking away the sediment will slow fermentation drastically.

It would be best to completely ferment your blueberry dry in the primary, then rack to stabilize and clear. Then take your sediment and add your sugar water to it to make your Skeeter pee. I would advise against adding lemon juice into your Skeeter pee until it is completely fermented.

Lemon juice will not assist in the fermentation but will slow it down. It offers nothing nutrient wise to your must.
