I'm considering an order of RJS reds from FVW. I'm thinking the Super Tuscan and Amarone (I've tried both of the CC kits).

Any suggestions on 2-4 of their very best would be most appreciated!!

The Cellar Classic Winery Series has a great reputation for putting out some good wine. As you have mentioned the Super Tuscan and Amerone are both good wines. For a very good easy to get along with red Try the Rosso Grande Ecellante from the winery series. The Cabernet Savingnon is also very good My personal favorite is the Old Vine Zinfandel winery series. En Premiere Carmenere' These are always on the top of my short list.

Presumably you are think ing the Cellar Classic Winery Series Italian Super Tuscan and Italian Amarone.

I would add the En Primeur Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico and Cru Select Italian Amarone to the list, depending on what you are looking for in a wine.

BTW, I don't see a Cellar Craft Super Tuscan on their web page, just the Rosso Fortissimo. Is this what you meant?

Yes, that's right, Rosso Fortissimo is their Super Tuscan style.

The En Primeur Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico seems to be a goner on the FVW site.

I started the RJS Super Tuscan about a month ago, after reading good reports from this forum. I tried it when I did the racking and it seems to have great promise but it's too early to know for certain.

Never tried the Super Tuscan, but the Rosso Grande is excellent. If you do both it would be interesting to know how they compare.

I ordered the Winery series Super Tuscan and Amarone. Next on my list will be the Rosso Grande and Old Vines Zinfandel (and the EP Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico if it comes back).

Thanks a bunch guys!

I've just got into the RJS Winery Series and look forward to drinking them in a while - my Super Tuscan is about 8 months and I will bottle soon; my Amarone is about 2 months along and just started the Rosso Grande - if they're anything like the Super Tuscan I will be very happy.

Oh, I gorgot to mention I think the Syrah is best after the Super Tuscan.

Hello everyone
i have an empty primary and looking for a kit for it!....i just put my super tuscan(winery series) in secondary..... i`m looking for reviews on another winery series kit...Chilean Carmenere with Carmenere skins.....i did a quick search ,found nothing ...is this kit that new or not that good....Thanks

I started this kit a couple months ago as I enjoyed a WE Carmenere a friend made and wanted to try one of my own.

I have made the winery Rossa Grande and Cab sav and want to try as many of the winery kits as i can since these 2 were the best I have ever made

Too early to give you a report but i'm sure it will not disappoint

cheers
