vine land wine competition

just picked up two golds for my cab/saouvion blend and the other for my raspberry wine,judging Davis method pro/judges scored 20 out of 20 on both counts,how ever i also entered my Savoy classico and only got a 13,need to try harderour wine club also entered and came away with 4 golds,2 silvers and 3 bronze there where abut 400 entires not to shabby for a small town in the heart of jerseys produce country,food was mostly Latino and Italian, music was all Latin and moving and shaking all in all a great time.Next stop vendemma,that contest is in south Philadelphia and there ,s about 3,000 or better entries in this one itsall Italian food, a sea of wine and a about 6,000 people and thats not a expansion of my mind either,thats in September around the 26/28th

its not easy getting into some of these comp. there pretty closed up on to them selves if you know what i mean,as a wine making group were all getting better learning from one another's failures and on occasion a good one,although i don,t always say a lot on this forum a haveread a lot from everyone hear and take away good things to either pass on to our fellows or use itmyself,wine makers are always good conversationalist,.
