Thanks everybody for all the info, I have 6 carboys to test and adjust this weekend. I should be able to get a handle on it by the 3rd or 4th one. (hope hope)

Have fun with it, Mike. After you do one or two, it'll seem so easy you'll be tempted to test any and all liquids in your house. I know I was.

May not be the best thread for this but I just heard from Dr. Sportsman with Vinmetrica and they now give their So2 test solutions 2 years shelf life. Much better than the 6 months previously published.
