I have bought and used several bulk juice containers and they work great for secondary fermentation. Take out the spigot and us a 6.5 rubber stopper with an airlock. They are BPA free and designed to hold things like orange juice , which is pretty acidic. They come in a 1.25, 2, 2.5 and 3 gal sizes and being rectangular, take up less space and are easy to store.

I use the 4 gal PET1 bottles from Walmart/sams all the time for bulk aging. They are free at the Primo water exchange kiosk at my local Walmart. I've been using them for 3 yrs now with no issue at all, and I have north of 20 of them. I also have 7 @ 5 gal glass and, 8 @ 6 gal PET1
