I went to do peach picking yesterday, around 40lbs.
They're ripe to eat but not very ripe, still a bit hard. So I want to let them get a bit softer/ripen, then I'll de-stone and chop before they go to the freezer.

So, wash them now while they're hard or don't bother?

We like to wash fruit coming out of an orchard because you're never sure on what or how they were sprayed. But I would do it just before you clean them for freezing.

I thought it'd be better to wash now while they're hard, will try that today then let them dry and ripen more.

Thanks Turock.
