I saw this and thought it kind of a cool idea for folks like me with not much storage space. paint your carboy and use it as decoration. The black background would protect the wine from light and you could show off your artistic talents. Alas, I have no artistic talents at all....I could do the solid black paint!

I think it's a great idea. Probably won't last very long with proper cleaning, but would be pretty.
