Whats the humidity like? It was freaking warm here too, not as bad as you temp wise but the humidity will knock you on your arse!

I can't believe the temps some of you guys deal with. We got to 95ish but humidity was near 119.2% so it was nice and sweaty.

68*, cool, low humidity, laptop on my lap in my easy chair with a cold beer. I'm not an instigator. :)

Funny, Dan. NOT! LOL very high humidity here too. BTW, I bottled the Pear/Kiwi a couple of days ago.

Yup, Hot here in Ohio too. Haven't had rain here in like, forever. Tonight my band was playing for the Power Festival here in central ohio. I no sooner got my kit on stage when a HUGE squall line moves through. placing a trap over all the expensive, neat cool as heck, electronic equipment I was stuck keeping the tarp from blowing away :try I GOT DRENCHED. the area looked like a war zone...the gig was canciled :po 1st rain in weeks and it had to hit at that exact time :(

Swamp cooler is working at 100% efficiency here considering it s 5% humidity! :)

The monsoons are looking like they will arrive right on time next week. They usually arrive just in time to rain out all the 4th of July picnics or camp outs! :db

Shoebie sorry to hear that. I was just looking at that storm on the weather map and it's huge. I sure wish it would hit up this way but it looks like it's staying about 70 miles south of us.

Mike isn't this really good news considering all the fires out there in the west.

Yea, the fires in CO have not burned anywhere near the acreage that has burned in southern NM this Spring but the home destruction has been incredible in Colorado Springs. The fire in SW NM in the Gila Wilderness burned almost 300,000 acres. Thats an incredible amount of real estate. The fires in Colorado Springs has only burned ~20,000 acres but much more structures. We need lots of RAIN!

My therm showed 107 this afternoon. We are now having nasty, nasty storms. 80mph wind gusts. A trampoline literally blew through my yard and lodged itself on our swing set about ten minutes ago. Glad it was the swing set and not the house.

Happy to have a bit of rain though. It's been bone dry here.

You didn't find my baby's pool in the swing set jam up did ya. We had real strong wind for 5 minutes then it was gone, messed up everything on the porch and broke off a small walnut tree but nothing serious.

Here's our new trampoline. :slp

yeah it was some mighty strong storms last night! 2 am this morning we were stumbling around in the dark getting the generator hooked up so I could keep my seahorses ALIVE!!!! I HATE PEPCO!!! glad that didnt hit your house!

It blew over a fence and across two yards before coming into our yard and settling here. Yikes!

Oh my...I guess the side rails and netting got lost in the move.
I better go and stake mine down, so that it never blows away like that.

They were still attached, but crumbled as it blew through the neighborhood. It came from two doors down. Blew across the yard, over a 4 ft picket fence, then over two yards before settling on our swing set. Amazingly, it did no damage, aside from a couple pickets on the aforementioned fence. The frame was actually pretty mangled. The owners and I disassembled it and got rid of it yesterday.
