Bob K. (fivebk) and his wonderful wife Barb stopped by yesterday afternoon. We had a great time, telling stories, tasting most of my wines, and slapping a few steaks on the grill. It is good to get together with somebody from here and share how we get along with our projects. Bob had some pics of his house, the funny thing is you can almost pick his house and mine up, ship them a couple of hundred miles and set them back on the others foundation. They are almost identical right down to the color. Arne.

Arne,

My first reaction to your post was ... HMMMMM, slap a steak on the grill. I have not done that for ages. Might be nice to do that this weekend now that things are calmed down after crush.

Then I noticed that you live in Nebraska. I can only imagine the steak you can get out there.

In Jersey, the steak is a bit tough. The cows have to be tough to fight off muggers! :)

Lol, John. These were just little bacon wrapped sirloins. They are sold at the local grocery and are about as tender as y ou can find. Come on out and I'll slap a couple on for you. Course you don't get fine wine here, but most aren't too bad, at least drinkable. Arne.

Arne and Bob that was awesome that the two of you could get together. I know when I get with the group from Pittsburgh it's always a good time. I also get to meet a few members that travel to come to the winery or when I go out of town to do classes. It's like you are old time friends meeting up again.

Arne,

I just may take you up on that if I am every in your neck of the woods.

Dan,

You know, I have yet to meet my first member? I will meet Joeswine for the first time next week, but other than that, I have not actually met a single member.

Who would have thought that a guy from Jersey, the country's most crowded state (most people per square mile), could feel so isolated :(

Gosh what fun. If any of y'all ever travel interstate 10 please stop in Beaumont, we'll treat you right. Just give me 12 hours notice to start a brisket.
