Both of these kits, selection from Winexpert and Winery Series from RJS come with grape skins pack.
My friend asking which one but I've never made Amarone (but I've been REALLY tempted...:p)

We have the WE at 15 months old and it's already quite good. Should be great in another six months to a year. Haven't made the RJS yet, but we have the CC Showcase bulk aging, and from what I've heard, it's the best Amarone.

thanks, the CC Showcase is a higher-end kit compared to the WE Eclipse.
I just don't know why Amarone is not available in the WE Eclipse line.....

For whatever it's worth, I'd say the WE Amarone was definitely in the same ballpark as the Eclipse kits we've made, while some of the other selection international skin kits such as the Tempranillo and Malbec Shiraz were not. The Brunello wasn't impressive at first, but is coming along quite nicely with age.

I would say the Eclipse line is comparable to the Showcase line.

Don't forget the En Primeur Amarone. Comes with skins and raisins.
