What is a good way to clean a wine thief

I have used a bottle brush but they will not reach all the way down. What is another way to clean the inside of a wine thief.

Try soaking it in oxy clean. I immediately rinse mine whenever I use it.

I had a friend that cleaned the tubing on his aquarium equipment with a long tubing brush, maybe something like that.

I have used a tubing brush, it just did not scrub the sides hard but I guess it is better than just rinsing it out.

Olusteebus, I cut the loop end off my bottle brush with a pair of pliers, drilled the end of a wood dowel rod and inserted the brush. It reached to the bottom of my wine thief and my siphon.

Which kind of wine thief? I use the Fermtech made one and blast it out on a Fermtech Blast or Double Blast bottle washer after use.

The "hold your thumb over the end" style would be more dificult to clean.

My thief comes apart for easy cleaning. Use a baby bottle brush if you can.

Always clean it out after use to keep it clean.
