Pizza night. I have to admit I bought a bag of dough at the supermarket.
It was frozen dough. The dry mix? That's not terrible.
Frozen dough works! It was frozen dough.
Frozen dough is definitely a time saver, I cook pizza on a screen and transfer to a pan for slicing,Frozen dough works!
I have a bread machine we purchased 20 years ago (Zojirushi). We used it enough when our sons were little that we wore the pan out, e.g., the metal deformed over time so the paddles could not turn. The replacement pan was expensive, but it was far cheaper than a new machine, which still works like it was new.
That said, I haven't actually baked bread in it, in years. I use it to make dough, just under 2 hours to knead the dough and let it rise once. As long as I have 2 hours to prepare (which isn't always), pizza is on the menu.
Bread gets baked in the oven in pans or on a stone.
I've never seen dry mix pizza dough in the stores here - only the premade fresh doughballs. The dry mix? That's not terrible.
No Chef-Boy-Ar-Dee pizza in a box?I've never seen dry mix pizza dough in the stores here - only the premade fresh doughballs.
