5,500 bottle at $185 per bottle - gone!!!
That is horrible. Insured or not, that's a terrible waste of great wine.

Maybe it was a bad batch and they couldnt sell it. Insurance wouldnt know..

Not a pretty site. I saw an entire pellet filled with 3 gallon buckets of ceiling paint get knocked out of an overhead at Home Depot. Thank God they had blocked off the aisles they were working in and no one got killed this time.

I wonder if the remaining bottles that weren't dropped are worth twice as much now!

Ouch but they did say it was a malfunctioning forklift.

I've yet to see a forklift "malfunction." I have seen them not start. Once they move, even if they die, they won't drop anything. Wondering how the "malfunction" happened. :d I've been around forklifts for ~5 years. I guess it could happen?

I doubt it was a fork lift as we know it.

I'm thinking 400+ cases were in a "SEA BOX" type trailer and somehow came off the crane.

Warning

I started to do a goggle search pulling up different stories on this and my virus detector pick up a virus. I guess someone wants to get back at us for reading about their mishaps. The original link posted on here is ok.
