wine done in 10 days?

Took a reading today and the SG is at .998 - surely this can not be right? Kit going from 1.080 to .998 in 9 days? the temp has been a pretty steady 70F the whole time.

Any thoughts?

Yeah thats normal ive had alot go less and then some go longer. Time to rack to secondary and begin clearing.

Chris: depending on the kit, the sg can reach .992. Don't rush your wine. A lot of Spagnols kits have reached .995 for me, but I have never made a Grand Cru International with skins.
