Wine press to crush

I have a decent wine press, can I also use that as a crusher?

Not really. Crushers are made to crush. Presses aren't really very good an squashing round grapes. If you press whole grapes, you end up with a lot of whole grapes in the cake when you are done.

I agree. A press will not work as a crusher.
