We have the WMT wineglasses, but I would like to develop more items.

What would you guys l ike to see?

Tshirts? If so what kind? Wine bottles? I could theoretically have them produced with the WineMakingTalk logo.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks guys!

I'd like to see some T-Shirts, navy blue, with or without pocket, short and long sleeve. Logo in white. Fat guy sizes please.

Hats, in black, navy, burgandy, with white logo. White with burgandy logo.

Wind breakers (light jackets) same colors as hats.

Tote Bags, Sacks. Same colors as hats.

Throws, stadium type blankets. Same colors as hats.

Plastic cups, Coffee cups or mugs.

Wooden Wine Crates or bottle carriers, etc.

Give me time and I will think of more!!

Hello,
I think the T-shirts would be great!
It is what is written on the back or the front of the t-shirt that is the difficult part.

What about some type of "apron?" I wear one with a logo and a name on it as I also have one when I am doing woodworking.

How about some type of sign that we could put on our door that would let our family (mainly) know we are wine making and need not be disturbed unless...you need a glass of wine, can't find the corkscrew, the corks are popping out of your wine bottles...something clever.

Something simple: a type of business card that has the forum logo on it and the website, how many active members world wide. I have written down info for people I meet all the time who want to know about where to learn but are in a hurry. On the back side some tidbit of wine info that the average person does not know(this card is based on "foot in the door concept."

Bumper sticker" wine making forum: sharing the artistry with others one glass at a time.

Just some thoughts

hoodie sweatshirt, sweat pants, hat with visor, I second the t shirt, short sleeve and long sleeve also second the jacket/windbreaker and also a heavier jacket for fall with a hood, canvas tool apron for the trellis keepers. Like beano I'm sure I'll think of something else. Thanks for collecting our ideas:b

I may be on the edge here but what ever is cost effective and good for promoting this website, I think it would be a good idea that what ever is marketed, a percentage of that profit could be donated to some type of non-profit .What comes to mind as an example is a veterans group(for most folks, this is not very controversial) and a small logo could be added. Those items sold would not only promote the website, increase profit margin but would also soften the corporate aspect and increase a value ideal of sharing and caring for others. The individuals on this website already reflect the caring and sharing.

speaking only for myself, when looking at a business on-line or not, If I find that one is concerned about those less fortunate, they will get my business regardless of how much money it cost me. I would be willing to pay the extra amount or something that I do not even need since the business reflects some of my values.

Just food for thought
Sincerely,
Corinth

To clear things up a bit, this is not a corporation - it is a website meant to promote making wine. The idea of having WineMakingTalk items would help not only promote the site, but also generate a small amount of money to help maintain the site. A website such as this can be quite expensive as bandwidth, servers, computers, software upgrades, backup services, etc are needed and need to be replaced fairly often to keep up. Those items all add up so there needs to be a few small revenue generators to keep the site going. Other sites simply ask for donations. For every site there needs to be a source of working capital.

A donation to a charity is always a great idea so I am sure that has been considered. I know I have always had my favorite charities. Presently I donate time and money to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The American Cancer Society. I give to those because they have a special meaning to me. How many of us aren't touched by cancer either ourselves or friends and loved ones? Besides that little money I donate may help find a cure for my incurable form of Lymphoma. I know of at least three of our moderators are cancer survivors so we know about caring and sharing.

Tee-Shirts and other apparel, corkscrews, wine cozies, coasters, wine glass jewelry, and I like the donations idea.

I'd like a white, heavy canvas apron. One that shows the battle scars from wine making but saves my t-shirts. I second the 2 stage som knife from pull taps

A little late in the game here but one might take a look at what things people got for Christmas???
I also thought what about labels.....that go on the back of the bottle., clear label that would have the wine making forum words and website on the bottom leaving the upper for the wine maker to add what ever they like to add about the wine they made.
Just a thought
