Was just at my lock winery store and picked up a winery series amarone for $120 Canadian. I think i should get another one. Seems like a good deal. I have read many good reviews on this forum on this kit. Any special tweaks for this kit or just be happy with what it is.

Thanks
Barney

I bottled this in early Oct and it was 1 year at that point. Was very good and I expect it to get better over the next year. My notes say I added (extra - 2g FT Rouge in primary, bulk; 50g Hung oak cubes - heavy). Tweaked for no particular reason as I'm sure it would be just as good by the book.

cheers

Buy more now - they are merging the Winery Series line with En Primeur. I don't know exactly what that means yet, but the kit as it exists today won't be around much longer.

I wonder what that means myself as I love the winery series labels and fear that's gonna change.

All the winery series kits are going to stay. They are even still calling them "winery series"... just En Primeur instead of Cellar Classic.

Goopy grape packs (winery series) or dried grape skins (En Primeur)

That is the question.

While they could leave each varietal how it is, there are a few that cross over like the Amarone.

When will the exact info be out?

Amarone the king of italian reds

I my self like the winexpert style AMARONE
easy to work with and cost effective.
