    Another trick is to bottle in amber bottles. I never use clear bottles just for that reason.

    I had the same problem when using sparkoloid. Switching to superkleer/Dualfine took care of that problem.

    My neighbor ordered 1 too and the same thing happened to his order. They canceled it and said it wasn't available. I pretty much made this kit by the book other then adding a cup of raisins to the primary and tossing in a medium toast oak spiral during bulk ageing. I usually bulk age anywhere...

    I 2nd Amarone WE Selection International. That's by far my fave winexpert kit. I add a cup of raisins to the primary and a medium toast French oak spiral when bulk aging.

    In the primary or when aging? I'm thinking about adding a oak spiral when clearing/aging. Is there a noticeable change in body and taste?

    Just found out Winexpert discontinued this kit. That sucks!! This kit has been in my yearly rotation for years. On a happier note. My newest addition the cellar.

    Cut the leg off a ladies nylon and use that. Stick to a neutral color like nude. Toss it when you are done.

    What's the longest everyone has kept bottled dragon blood before drinking? I have some that's a little over a year old and still good. It is losing some of its sweetness at that age.

    It settled out after a few days. Yesterday I stabilized and cleared it. Everything appears to be normal.
