Couple of shots from Red River, NM this morning.

The Sandhill Cranes are heading South big time the last few days to Winter down in the Bosque del Apache Reserve. They will typically circle over head for a bit, get their bearings and then continue South for another couple hundred miles or so.

We live at 7000ft EL so we can get lots of snow over the Winter. Our local ski area Pajarito (little bird in Spanish) will open today. The earliest open in 40 years! They have received over 36" of snow from this storm and are working 24/7 to pack the trails for skiers. The base is 9000ft EL...

Shoveling snow! We are getting buried by an early Winter snow storm. Parts of Northern NM may get uo to 36" of snow in the next 2 days. This is from overnight and its coming down almost nonstop......

Since a Kilo is ~2.2lb it will interesting to do the math. If you (or anyone in the UK) could supply a current price for brisket. Especially from a Costco in the UK, we could compare easily.

Costco used to sell "Prime" whole packer briskets for $2.99/lb before Covid hit. Now they are usually $3.99 to $4.99/lb depending on where you are shopping at. I can find whole "Choice" packer briskest at my local Kroger for $2.99/lb when they are on sale. Normally their choice is ~$3.99/lb.

I would say what's "despicable" is not the meme which is a joke after all but the fact that Aaron Judge makes $40 million dollars a year and dropped a fly ball that most little leaguers could have caught....... He also batted .222 had 3 RBI's and a solo HR.
