abv calculation

i made some pear wine with a finished abv of 11.3. in some of this wine we added pear flavored vodka to increase the abv and create a light brandy for an after dinner drink. the vodka added was 80 proof. we added 2, 3, and 4 oz to bottles and filled with the wine. the bottles hold 750 ml. what is the abv after adding the vodka?

By my calculations the 2 oz addition resulted in a final ABV of 13.6. The 3 oz addition a final ABV of 14.7. The 4 oz addition a final ABV of 15.8. Hopefully someone else will answer as well.

I concur. Appleweld - check out the Pearson Square calculators on Jack Keller's page. The second of the two (lower on the page) is the one that would be used for this calculation when you want to know that final abv of a blend.
