Does the alcohol level effect the final taste of a wine, please quote your thoughts .... I know that it suppose not but usually i plan my wine to be 15 ABV but today i tasted some which were marked to be 9.5 and were completely different from mine....

Yes. Case in point. Try a shot of vodka, then try a shot of everclear (if you can...muwahaha). :: Or, try a glass of grape juice, then wine. The difference is the level of alcohol. You won't notice a difference between a small difference like 9% and 10%. But you'll notice one between 5% and 15%. Personally I've been leaning towards 10% for my wines...for no good reason really, just sounds good. I really need to try a higher alcohol level to see if I like that better.
