I am starting a one gallon batch of banana/blueberry tomorrow. The recipe calls for 2.5 - 3 lbs of blueberries and 2lbs of bananas. I only have 1.5lbs of blueberries so I am upping the banana to 3lbs. Hopefully it will turn out OK. I though about some frozen grape concentrate to make up for the lack of blueberries, what do you guy's think?

I am thinking the recipe already sounds light on blueberries and now you're even putting less in. The banana's will add to the mouth feel and very little to the flavor. If you're looking for a lighter wine this might just be fine but I'm thinking about 5 pounds per gallon would be what I would shoot for.

Do you think the grape concentrate will help or should I shop for more blueberries.

if you are shooting for more blueberry flavor save some as an f-pac use some for color in primary.
