Now that I have one kit under my belt, I'm thinking my next project needs to be a Syrah. So far the only ones I see are the Cellar Craft Yakima Valley and the RJS Cellar Classic Winery California Syrah.

I lean towards the Yakima Valley one, simply because I am in the Northwest. But which kit is likely to make a better wine? Does anyone have experience with both kits? Are there any other high end Syrah options I don't know about?

There are a couple recent threads regarding the Yakima Syrah kit. People have positive things to say about it, but the kit itself is being discontinued along with some other CC Showcase kits. If I were to choose between the two, I would go for the Yakima Syrah. The Winery Series kits have a good reputation in general, so going in that direction wouldn't be a poor choice. I assume you're not wanting to go in the direction of the more fruit forward, heavily oaked Australian style Syrah/Shiraz.
