After racking my WE Chilean Malbec/Shiraz on Sunday, there were red "bits" inside the tubing. I did rack all of the liquid out after stabilizing and clearing into a seperate 1.5L bottle, so I carried over a lot of sediment. Problem is, these red bits are in the tubing (these rinsed right out of the racking canes) and they won't rinse out. I did rinse with Oxy-clean and kmeta, neither of which worked.

So, what's the best way to clean the tubing? Thanks

I use the compressor to shoot cotton balls thru the tubing.

Run hot water through it immediately after using it. So simple.

I always do rinse right after using, and have never had this happen before. This stuff just doesn't want to come out - guess I'll buy some new tubing, it is cheap, just an inconvenience to go out and get more. Thanks
