For those of you that love the cold weather, you can have some of mine. When I was younger it didn't bother me but as I got older, the cold seems colder. Last winter wasn't quite as cold as this year, but I was frozen all the time while undergoing full chemo treatments. This year is colder, but since I only get some chemo (actually a monoclonal antibody) every couple months now, I seem to be tolerating the cold better but I haven't ventured out today at all. It is times like this that I wish I was like my grand parents living here in the summer and overwintering in South Carolina.

Thinking about retiring in Belize or something! Been doing this cdn winter for too many decades lol! Was looking at Belize real estate the other day anyone been there? I work outside all day as a farrier and -10c is balmy. I work without a coat all the time because it's important for me to not sweat in the cold! Heck -15c is balmy but this -39 crap has got to stop! After 15 to 20 mins of doing chores for the horses and other critters my face and fingers are stinging!

belize too expensive....I go to La Ceiba quite a bit..and love it.
But I go to a private island, we have to hall in our supplies and we are all solar, with a fresh water waterfall, for our water....But even said
On the mainland, its cheaper then belize city.

Sounds awesome! I've never heard of that place? I'd love to go visit I wasn't exactly thinking of Belize city more like either the coastal areas or some of the areas where we could have a couple acres for gardening or some horses or both lol
