Other Chardonnay: mid range kit suggestions?

Hi all,
Since you folks gave me a fabulous advice on a cabernet savignon,
i am now wondering what recommendations you would have for a mid-range $80 - 110 Chardonnay.

It really does not have to be a Chardonnay so add any other recommendations you please. People often will ask me for a dry to medium dry white wine. most recognize Chardonnay but I am quite open for any recommendations.

It's free from me so they should be open to new experiences rather than the typical ones they come across rooming the isles of their local grocery store.

I did the Mosti Renaissance Australian Chardonnay about 16 months ago. It's really nice. I barrel fermented, and only used a small amount of the kit oak. Depending on your oak preference, you could use some, all or none of it. IIRC, it had 100g of cubes included.

As I have mentioned here before, I am a big fan of Viognier. I really like the subtle apricot/peach/floral aromas. Moreover, I find that people who like Chard often like Viognier as well, but it is a bit off the beaten path.
