Finer Wine Kit Finer Wines - Cab Zin Forte or Zin Forte?

I like bold/jammy , non-oaky reds. It seems like the Finer wine Cab Zin Forte or the Zin Forte may be good options. Anyone have experience with either and can recommend? Open to other suggestions as well within or outside Finer wines. Never made a kit before, but the idea of the juice being refrigerated sounds appealing.

Depends upon your time frame - the Zin is available now whereas the Cab/Zin won't ship before the end of December. No one has tried the Cab/Zin yet, as it is new.

Ach I thought it was just backordered, their site says early dec. Probably safer to choose something that people have actually made in that case, such as the zin.

Sonoma Forte may also be another good option if I'm looking for something bold/jammy.

The end of Dec came from Matt. FWK seems to generally be about 3 weeks behind on their delivery projections. Remember, they are stuck with waiting until the concentrate supplier ships.

As to getting a varietal that people have made before - while the flavor profiles of FWK kits varies, I've not had one that actually disappointed me.

I bottled the Sonoma Forte several months ago and was very pleased with the wine. One of my favorites so far with FWK.
