With a deal on a crusher/destemmer available nearby, I am considering the jump to making wine from fresh grapes. Then it occurred to me: Where do I get fresh grapes?
Can I get enough quality fresh grapes in the Milwaukee/Chicago area to make it worthwhile, or should I skip the crusher/destemmer, and go with frozen must?
Also, I have been making lots of different types of kits: Malbec, Pinot Noir, Amarone, Barolo, etc. With fresh grapes, am I likely to be making lots of one type of wine?
