I recently made up this wine rack. It's purpose built for 1000mL flip top bottles, and I think I've made a grave mistake. Some of the bottles sliiiiiightly leak by their flip top rubber gasket. This smells awesome to fruit flies, and they've become a problem down there.
Ya know, I could feel for the bottles that are leaking, replace the gasket, wash them thoroughly and put 'em back. That would probably be the best solution there.
Generally we store bottles on their side to keep the cork wet, but for these, that doesn't matter. What if the entire rack held them at a 30deg upwards angle, so the top would stay dry? I may have to redo this thing.
Any advice would be great. thanks!
