So I have a bit of a dilemma, a friend who will be making wine with me this year possibly has tickets to the Giants home opener on the 20th. We had planned on crushing that day, I have prior commitments on Saturday and would rather not wait until the following weekend. My plan is to still get the grapes early Sunday a.m. start the process and as soon as he gets back from game we will finish up. That is if he gets over the G.W. bridge with little delay!:slp

Thanks,

Steve

You did not actually ask a question, Steve, but that won't stop me from revealing the best course of action. Tell your friend to skip the Giants game and come to crush in the morning. Tell him that he can watch the Giants lose ANY Sunday, nothing special about the 20th! ::

When they loose you will be all bummed out and wont do a good job crushing and it will show in the final wine, better to get to crushing before they start to loose and that way you will have at least gotten part of a positive start on your wine. WVMJ

Grapes are ready when they're ready. Giants will have 8 home games - hopefully more (coming from a Giants fan).

Yeah all responses are what I thought!
@JohnT yes we could push it to the following Saturday (26th), however my girlfriend has me booked for a one night camping trip on the 3rd which would then time crunch me for pressing.
Basically everyone needs to get their priorities straight! This only comes once a year!

Thanks,

Steve

P.S. for the record I was born and raised in Miami so go Fins!

Exactly! Nothing interferes with CRUSH! I have turned down trips to the Bahamas, even Italy with friends who have timeshare condos saying come on all you have to do is pay for your airfare.....

I say can't do it, its CRUSH!

Why not pitch a tent on the back lawn and have a "Camping Crush"??

WVMM - Do you really think that you should talk? How do you expect the redskins to do this year?????
