Glass carboy has outside residue that won't come off

Way to go, Ajax! I also suggest thoroughly cleaning and rinsing both inside and outside with a carboy cleaner, e.g. PBW. I would not want any trace of vinegar near my wine.

Good Point! Thanks Rocky, I planned a PBW and campden clean, but will be extra thorough this time.
