I don't have a dog in this fight, as the saying goes, but I've been following this discussion with interest. Both sides have made good points.
From a business point of view, the workers need to be paid a fair salary AND the business needs to be able to make a reasonable profit. Without that, the entire enterprise will collapse. The challenge is coming to an agreement on the meaning of "fair" and "reasonable."
