I believe the time frame is a few days at Keystone Hombrew. But the sooner you get it the better and once you get it home it is time to get started. A six gallon pail does not easily fit in a home refrigerator. And you're going to get a couple, right?
 
well being I only have one fermenting pail for now I am getting one.

I just reserved a pail of Chilean Chianti from Harford vineyards in Maryland. It will be in late April to early May.

I will see how it goes and maybe order 2 when the next time they are getting juice in. I think Italian juices come a few months later there.

I'm sure it would not fit in my lovely french door fridge with out removing some shelves.

I think even this is a big step considering i'm starting my first kit this weekend.

going to need to figure out what yeast and all to use before it comes
