Hello everyone, I've been making various fruit wines here in Maine for about a year and have been thinking of trying my luck with grape vines in the future.

YOu should be in a good area for that. What kinda grapes you gonna plant?

Welcome to WMT! I'm thinking of starting some grape vines also. I'm starting to contact local small vineyards and they seem to really go out of their way to help. Take advantage of them if there are any within easy driving distance.

Two nice grapes. Frontenac Blanc is a newer white variety that is super hardy. I really love Brianna and la crescent for whites too. Other red options are Tom Plocher's new grapes - petite pearl and Verona.
