Has anyone retrieved a rubber bung from inside a glass carboy?

Chances are the bung was pushed into the carboy as the vacuum pump was on the floor and the bung wasn't.

Put string/tape into the carboy in a loop, turn carboy upside down, loop behind bung. PULL !!!!!!

The plastic bag trick works. Same as removing a cork from a bottle.

Here is a youtube video on hoe to remove a cork from inside a wine bottle. Just use the same principle with a carboy
