$2 wine may be a source for cooler base with the benefit of free bottles too. unless they are pop tops???
The drug store chan sells something called oak vreek at 3 bottles for $10 and they have corks in them. I used it to top up a couple of times.
I was thinking of buying a 35 dollar cab and swapping the wine as a gift.
