Check out wine kits http://www.winemakingkitsforbeginners.net/home-wine-making-kits/ for your first one. Most of the kits aside from the more expensive ones will take 4 or so weeks to maturity. Pick whatever you like from a taste perspective and be sure it will only take a month and you'll be good. Basements and garages are always good options for making wine at home.
