Just joined the forum and looking forward to sharing ideas on better winemaking!

Question; Racked 6 gals. of red grape wine in early dec. Late jan. noticed white specks floating on top. Any help or suggestions to saving the wine would be greatly appreciated.

Have you sulfited the wine yet? If so how much and when. It could be an infection or simply acid crystals forming. What is the wine made from and a recipe would be a big help in helping you.
 
Welcome to the forum. Also, if you added sorbate and didn't get it completely dissolved, I have seen it form in little chunks and float on top.
 
Did you use Camden tablets? Those have a tendency to not completely dissolve due to the fillers used to hold them together as tablets and they are notorious for this.
