Hello all, Im new here and a rookie at this Art and Obsession.

I do see how it can be an obsession real quick.

I have made 2 kits so far. One a Cab Sauv. and the other a Blush Zin. I also have made a one gallon of Welchs concorde from concentrate.

thanks all for your input!!!

yeah welcome good to see another Tenn. person on here

Welcome, welcome!
Sounds like you made an early drinker and a not-so-early drinker. That's a good way to start, since you won't have to wait 18 months to enjoy that blush Zin. It should be good in a month or two.
Enjoy your new hobby.

Welcome. Is it warm in TN? God I am so tired of this snow!

Well it was in the 80's about a week ago. Dropped back to the 40's and 50's this week, but looking fwd to a sunny weekend in the 70's!

Thanks all for the warm welcoming!

I have a Reisling in the carboy right now. When it is done Im thinking I may try some of that Skeeter Pee. I believe it may be a real hit around the volley ball games in the pool this summer!:D

Is it still fermenting?, If so do start the Skeeter Pee on the left over lees. If ot make a real good starter yeast or wait until after you just moved your next wine to carboy. Glad to have you aboard our forum.

Wade, The Reisling is done fermenting and has been stablilized and cleared. I will be bottling it in the next week or so. I do have a gallon of Welch's Passion fruit that is still working in the secondary. I am thinking of using that in the SP for a slurry.
