hi everyone my name is Joe and im starting my first batch of wine i live in WA state wine country i just got chardonay grapes from prosser WA
 
Welcome and congrats on starting a fantastic new journey! I got my chard grapes 2 weeks ago and its in carboy now. What are your plans as far as this goes? Are you going to oak it or do MLF?

Your right its nice being in the heart of wine country im still waiting for my reds they wont be ready for about 2 more weeks they are also from yakima vally AVA
 
Joe, Kennewick has an awesome brew and wine making shop, down by the blue bridge. everything you will ever need and smart, helpful people. Red Mountain has great Reds(grapes and wine) They will be ready next week from what I was told Friday. I obtained Riesling Grapes in Chelan this weekend. Aint it great living in Washington
 
You were able to obtain Chilean grapes already/ Didnt even know they were available at this time of year!

Chelan Wade, that is a a sub region in the Washington Okanogan region. It is up the Columbia River from where Joe lives in the the Tri Cities
 
i have been buying stuff from those guys and yes my reds are goining to be ready in a couple weeeks
