Hi All,
I am sure many of you out there have been in a situation in which you have overheard someone advising someone on what type of wine to buy and why?

The problem is that the information imparted to the novice, unsuspecting consumer was so far from the truth that you had to keep from laughing and then struggle not to step in after this"expert" left to save this poor consumer from making a bad mistake?

I would give you full credit for the story when I tell it but I would like to have a few good stories under my belt during this holiday season but I have not been doing this long enough to build up a stash of experiences so I decide to go to the experts--you!.

I know I said advice on what wine to buy but it could be anything within the realm of "wine"

I know a lot of you could really share some very funny stuff if you would be so kind.

Thank You
Corinth

I was at a wine supply store in Pittsburgh (about 120 miles south of me) when I heard the sales person giving bad advise to a customer. Once the sales clerk walked away, I struck up a conversation with the customer and the proceeded to tell him what I would do without knocking the salesperson. An older gentleman was close by listening to us and walked up to me and asked if I happen to be running wolf from WMT. I nearly crapped my pants as I was far from home and not expecting to know anyone. Al rarely comes on here anymore but it was so cool meeting him by chance.
