I live in Indiana. Its almost time for the big Indiana Melons to come out.
If you live in Indiana you know what Im talking about? They are so good!! Sooo big and sweet. Anyone here ever make a cantaloupe wine? I will definitely try the black banana thing on this one lol
 
Oh Tess, I cannot wait. They are so good. I am just over the river, near Louisville...but they ship the melons to us. I may try to make wine from some, though I end up eating it fresh and as chilled soup. Thx for reminding me.

Wow, Jack Keller, who will happily ferment almost anything, isn't even that bullish on cantelope wine. link.
 
Wonder if Jack has ever had an Indiana melon lol I think Im gong to at least try a gallon to see what comes from it
