Yep, I've made a Montepulciano Merlot blend, Valpolicella Ripassa, and a Super Tuscan.

In previous years, I've made Amarone, Brunello, Valpolicella, Barolo, Pinot Grigio, and Sangiovese.

BEN DOING THIS FOR SEVEN YEARS NOW AND REALLY ENJOY BLENDING??

Joeswines, I started off making almost predominately white and fruit and then my taste changed and i prefer Reds now and all my wines that are aged are fruits and whites. i wish i had made eve amounts but must say that I have been trading them off to quite a few people for reds. Dont get me wrong, I still like the occasional fruit and white . just would rather drink reds most of the time. The exception to this rule is my black currant as this 1 hits both areas.

One of my Amarone and Sangiovese were done with fresh juice and grapes on the Sangiovese. All the rest were kits with grape packs, as those taste closest to the real thing. I prefer making reds with full grapes, but that is a LOT of work, and it all depends on how busy I get at harvest time each year. Sadly, the last two years, I've been too busy with work to be able to get grapes at harvest time from my suppliers.

Seems like almost every wine I make is an Italian red. I have a MM Montepulciano going right now.

the reason I asked is I seen so much about welches grape juice and other canned purees,I wasn't sure of were I was going,I like whites and have probley made everone on there is,I do make some reds, pinor, sharaz, and a couple of blends in white and red,but I think I like blending the best of all,it gives the wine maker a chance to create a wine of his,or hers own identity..fruits on the other hand are a pure delite for me to make and perfect//
