Occasionally my bargain kits include keiselsol packets that have turned to an almost hard paste or large sand-like granules. Can this still be used and if so, is there a good way to liquify it again before adding to the carboy? I usually bulk age for a year or more so don't worry about the clearing agents. But, I took a year off and my inventory got dangerously low so kind of want to make these kits more on the manufacturer's schedule. Thanks.
