I just got an email from Lodi Wine Labs saying there's a fraudulent website that mimics the Lodi site.

Ugh! How low can they go?

I've posted this in other threads, and it's worth knowing so I'll post it again.

Before clicking ANY link in a browser, mouse over it and look at the status bar at the bottom of the browser. All the browsers I'm familiar with will display the real URL, like this:

1728072262221.png

Look at the URL and make sure it's what you think it is. If you have ANY doubts??? Don't click it.

Look for misspellings, letter substitution, e.g., m0rewinemaking.com <--- the "o" is actually a zero "0".

Or moorwinemaking.com <--- there are two "0"s in the URL.

More importantly, consider the source. Even ones that appear trustworthy. When I get an email from my bank, I normally use a bookmark to access their site, not a link in the email.
