Have you placed your order yet?

No, not for a couple of weeks. Waiting till after New Years to see if I
can gather enough Champagne bottles to eliminate that part of the order
to cut down on shipping and buy the titrets tester instead. I'll tell
my guy at the recycling center to save me some, this is the same guy
that saved me 112 wine bottles on one Sat. alone! I live in the middle
economy range of a pretty rich town where there are a lot of wine snobs
driving BMW's and Mercedes. Not to put anyone down who drives one as I
like them to, just cant afford one. About a mile from my 1440 sq. ft
house are 7000 to 10,000 sq. ft. Mansions on acres of land, and they
like to drink wine and I like their empties. All I have to do is ask
him and I am overloaded with wine bottles in 1 weekend so I think that
I'll be good on Champagne bottles.

Thanks NW, You must have been typing at the same time I was as I missed
your earlier post and started searching when I noticed your previous
post. Thank You, I'm going to check out those sights now and search
through posts probably tommorrow.

LOL I missed NW's post too! She's a tricky one!

I've been told that the neighbors up the road usually have a recycling box full of wine bottles every other Friday! =) After New Year's would be the perfect time to score the champaign bottles!

I'm thinking I might try turning a Riesling into a sparkling wine. Do you think that would fly?

And Wade, I'm already picturing your beautiful riddling board from your very talented hands!

Check out NW's honeycreek.us site for Champagne making. It is definetly
an excellent step by step tutorial. Once you get on the site just enter
sparkling wine into their searh engine. I bookmarked it for when I get
started making it. I'll be sure to post a picture of the riddling board
for you.

I think its going to look more like a small bech seat instead of a
board. Free-standing but just small enough to fit in our big freezer
for degorging.

I wasn't trying to be funny, Wade. (Not this time anyway!) I thought you were throwing out woodworking terms I didn't know about! I was thinking "beach seat"...something you use on the beach.

So you must have a really big freezer if it can hold a bench seat! (Now I'm trying to be funny!
