ML bacteria

I have a 6 gallon carboy of wine that I have racked twice I want to add some ML bacteria to it tomorrow but I have some sediment on the bottom of the carboy I'd like to rack it but don't want to because the potassium metabisulfite would affect the fermentation of the ML bacteria do you think I should rack it to another carboy or just add to the current carboy it's in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks

I wouldn't worry about the little sediment, in fact it probably has nutrients to help the MLB.

I second @mainshipfred , as long as it's not a big pile of gross lees, it should be just fine. Wouldn't hurt anything to mix your MLB and nutrients in there and stir it all up.........
